Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to every single program Looking For My Sister offers; LFMS volunteers are actively making difference in the fight to end domestic violence.

Join the communications, fundraising or membership committees Co-facilitate counseling groups Mentor the youngest victims of domestic violence, the children who witness the abuse. Staff the crisis line Assist victims in obtaining orders of protection Communicate the LFMS message to thousands of citizens at health fairs and school prevention education programs.

New volunteer training/orientation will be offered the First Saturday of each month from 10-12 noon. All are welcome to attend and find out about our exciting volunteer opportunities. We are specifically looking for persons for the fundraising, public relations/communications and advisory board.

If you are dedicated to stopping domestic violence, please join our fight! We are currently looking for energetic women and men to become a part of our Advisory Board. Contact Laurie Moore at

  New volunteer training is typically the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the headquarters (Suite #104).
