ANNOUNCEMENTS

April 5, 2006

Looking For My Sister has teamed up with Verizon Wireless to collect used cell phones to benefit women victims of domestic violence. This two week drive beginning April 13 through April 29th is expected to collect nearly 200 cell phones. The cell phones will be refurbished and used as 911 phones for the women and their children who fall victims to acts of violence by those they love and trust.

Cell phones are extremely popular these days and because there are so many options and new plans available, a growing surplus of used cell phones is developing. If you think for a moment, you will realize that you probably have a cell phone sitting around idle in your house and there are a number of people you already know who have inactive cell phones as well. Many households have two or three used phones left over from their "previous" service!

Please join us in helping domestic violence victims by donating your old cell phones to Looking For My Sister during the month of April. Phones may be dropped off at our Administrative Offices during normal business hours. If your company or office would like to schedule a pickup of phones it can be arranged by calling Randi at 313-861-3221.

On behalf of the many women and children who will benefit from this initiative, we thank you in advance for your support.
